Remove chicken from bag when thoroughly coated with flour.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Heat in heavy skillet:<br \/>1 inch of fat<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Brown chicken on all sides and place in a large deep pan.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Bring to a boil in a separate pan:<br \/>1 cup shoyu<br \/>1\/2 cup sugar<br \/>1\/4 cup sake or sherry wine (any liquor will do) May be omitted<br \/>1\/4 teaspoon garlic juice (use garlic press)<br \/>1\/2 teaspoon fresh ginger juice (use garlic press)<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Pour liquid over browned chicken. Toss chicken over and over to evenly distribute sauce.
