(7 oz each) saimin noodles<br \/>1\/2 lb. char siu or kamaboko*<br \/>1\/2 cup chopped green onions<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">In saucepan combine water, shrimp, knobu, bones, monosodium glutamate, pepper, soy sauce, and salt to make soup stock. Simmer for 30 minutes; strain. Cook noodles according to package directions. Cut char siu or kamaboko into thin strips. Place noodles in warm soup bowls. Pour stock over noodles; sprinkle with green onions and strips of char siu or kamaboko.
