Sift flour, baking powder and salt together; set aside.  Beat eggs in large bowl until foamy.  Beat in sugar gradually; add vanilla.  Blend in sifted dry ingredients.  Mix in gumdrops and walnuts.  Turn into prepared pan.  Bake in 350 degree oven 30-35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.  Remove from oven.  Cut into bars while still warm.
