Garbage Cookies

3/4 cup shortening1 cup sugar2 eggs unbeaten2 tsp. vanilla3 cups flour3 tsp. baking powder1/2 tsp. salt Cream shortening. add sugar and eggs. Add remaining ingredients and drop on greased cookie sheet. Press top with a floured fork making a criss-cross pattern or flatten with a tumbler. Bake 15 minutes in a moderate oven 350 F.
