Sandies

1 cup butter
1/4 cup powdered
1 tbsp. water
1/4 tsp. salt
2 cups flour
2 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter, add sifted powdered sugar until fluffy, add water, add flour and mix well. Add vanilla. Form into the form of a sausage and flatten with fingers. Bake in oven 350 F. until browned.
Roll in granulated sugar.
