Apricot Cake






1-1/2 cup sugar1 block butter1/3 cup crisco1 cup ground sweet chocolate2 bottles Seven-up3 cups flour4 eggs3 tsp. baking powder1 tsp. baking soda1/4 tsp. salt1 tsp. vanilla Cream butter, crisco. Add sugar, eggs, beat well. Add Seven-up and flour. Bake 350 F for 35 minutes.
Pineapple Caramel Topping: 1 cup brown sugar 1/2 block butter 4 slices pineapple, well drained 1 small can crushed pineapple, drained 1/4 cup chopped nuts Into a cake pan put brown sugar and butter, slowly caramelize over slow fire. 2 c. Bisquick 1/4 c. sugar 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1 c. sour cream 1 egg Combine all ingredients. Spray Pam in muffin pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Makes 1 dozen.
