5 to 7 tart apples (green)3/4 to 1 cup sugar2 tbsp. enriched flour1/8 tsp. salt1 tsp. cinnamon1/4 tsp. nutmeg2 tbsp. butter1 recipe plain pastry Mix sugar, flour, salt and spices, sprinkle half over 9 inch pastry lined pie pan.
