Lemon Pie, Two Crust Type




3 squares unsweetened chocolate 1 cup evaporated milk (undiluted) 3 cups sugar 3 tbsp. butter 2 tbsp. corn syrup 1 tsp. vanilla Cut chocolate over sugar into 2 quart saucepan. Add corn syrup and evaporated milk. Place over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves and chocolate melts. Bring to boil, cover and cook 2 minutes….
I was delighted when I saw this recipe. I love making pies and the weirder the pie, the better. Rice? Saltines? Honey as the only sweetener? I’m there for it!
2 pounds lean pork1 cup shoyu1/2 tsp. red coloring1/2 cup sugar1 pc. ginger (about 1″ cube) crushed Combine shoyu, coloring and sugar in pot. Cook for n while and cool. Cut pork in four pieces and soak in sauce. Steam for five hours. Brown in oven or saucepan for 20 minutes.
