Green Lasagne “Alla Bolognese”




1/2 lb. ground beef 1/2 cup sliced onion 1/3 cup chopped green pepper 2 tbsp. salad oil 1 1-lb. can tomatoes 2 1-lb. cans pork and beans in tomato sauce 1 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper Saute beef, onion and green pepper in oil. Stir in remaining ingredients. Simmer gently about 25 minutes. Serves 4-5.
1/2 cup catsup2 tbsp. brown sugar2 tbsp. cider vinegar1 tbsp. WorcestershJre sauce1 tbsp. shoyu2 tsp. prepared mustard Combine all ingredients for sauce and pour over meat balls. Cover pan and cook until meat balls are done (about 1/2 hour).
