Butter Cake




The name of the recipe delivers on its promise—what a fluffy, moist cake full of the flavors of ginger and molasses. I made it to kick off the autumn season and served it with a dollop of whipped cream for a little extra EXTRA.
1 pkg. chocolate cake mix 2 eggs 1/4 c. oil 1/2 c. water or 7-Up 1 can cherry pie filling 1 tsp. almond extract sifted powdered sugar Mix cake mix, eggs, oil and water. Fold in cherries. Bake in 325 degree oven for 45-60 minutes. When warm, sprinkle with sifted powdered sugar.
