Codfish Fritters #1 (Bacalaitos)




3/4 lb. ground pork 1 sm. bamboo shoots chopped fine or boiled won bok 1 green onion, chopped fine 1 egg 1 tbsp. shoyu 1/2 tsp. salt 1-1/2 tsp. oyster sauce 1/2 tsp. sugar 1 pkg. wun ton wrappers Fill the wrappers with the pork mixture. Steam for 20 minutes.
Peel and boil taro. Chill thoroughly. Slice as thinly as possible and fry in deep fat like potato chips. Spread on absorbent paper and sprinkle with salt while hot.
